Historically, Turkish coffee is a device of exploration of one another. Its inherent ability to bring people together makes it a cultural mediator across different geographies and that is exactly why in 2013, it was placed in UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List. Today we harvest its special powers to bring together a chef and a gastronome to talk about kebab, hummus and yogurt. Originating from close geographies, we thought Turkish coffee would be a nice accompanying beverage to these delightful dishes while we take a glimpse into the what / where / how / whys of these local but now global phenomenons… In this podcast, we have a chitchat about hummus. If listening to us is not enough, check out our recipe for the smoothest hummus here.
